RAWE

The students of the 2021 batch B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture was placed in the Student READY (RAWE) Programme from 06.03.2025 onwards for 65 days in three surrounding districts such as Ranipet, Tiruvallur and Kancheepuram. The students comprising of 76 girls and 57 boys were divided into 12 groups viz., Ellapuram, Kadambattur, Kaveripakkam, Nemili, Poondi, Sholinghur, Sirukaveripakkam, Sriperumbudur, Tiruttani, Tiruvallur, Uthiramerur,  and Walajabad. The entire programme was coordinated by Dr. Bala Vivin Sundar, Assistant Professor (Agrl. Extension) and Dr. R. Suresh Verma, Assistant Professor (Agrl. Extension).

Student READY (RAWE) Exhibition:

To display the outcomes of the 65-day programme during their tenure in their respective villages, the 2021 batch students organized and displayed an eye-catching exhibition on 09.05.2025 at the inaugural function of the newly constructed Exhibition Hall at Sagayathottam, for which the chief guest was Mr. P. Ashok Kumar, Joint Director of Agriculture, Ranipet district. He declared open the RAWE Exhibition and wholeheartedly congratulated the students for their excellent display of live models and specimens.
