Introduction:

Agricultural Engineering plays a key role in agriculture which integrates the knowledge of science and engineering techniques in agriculture. It familiarize the students with latest agricultural technologies, advanced agricultural tools and machineries, soil and water conservation methodologies in plain and hilly areas, surveying and leveling techniques, measurement of irrigation water, management approaches in watershed, farm irrigation and drainage methods, design of micro-irrigation layouts, renewable energy technologies and post-harvest operations.

            The agricultural engineering courses equip students to create meaningful impact in the field of agriculture by learning about how to improvise farm mechanization, conserve soil and water, increase agricultural productivity, improve efficiency in various agricultural operations and utilize renewable energy gadgets.
