Admission procedure, seat allocation, eligibility criteria and application links for B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture.
Don Bosco College of Agriculture (DBCA), Sagayathottam, admits eligible candidates to the B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture programme through the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) single-window counselling system and the college management admission process.
1. Application Procedure
A. TNAU Counselling Admission
- Submit the application online through the official TNAU admission portal or undergraduate admission webpage.
- Based on Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) marks, TNAU prepares and publishes the rank list on its official website.
- Follow TNAU instructions regarding counselling and seat allotment.
- Complete the admission formalities as instructed by TNAU and the college.

B. Management Admission
Candidates seeking admission under the management quota may apply directly through the DBCA Management Admission Portal. Complete the online application form and follow the instructions provided by the college.

Students aspiring to join DBCA must satisfy the prescribed eligibility requirements. The seat allocation is described as follows, subject to applicable admission regulations.

Seats filled through the college management admission process, subject to applicable eligibility requirements and regulations.
3. Eligibility Criteria
A. Educational Qualifications – Academic Stream
Candidates must have passed all subjects in the qualifying examination under the 10+2 system from a recognised board, including:
- Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Tamil Nadu
- Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
- Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE)
- Other recognised State Government Boards
- Other recognised International Boards
Eligible Subject Combinations (+2)
Candidates who have studied any one of the following subject groups may be eligible to apply, subject to the applicable admission rules.
B. Ranking Procedure
Under the applicable academic-stream ranking procedure, marks obtained in each of the four main subjects are converted to a maximum of 50 marks per subject. The aggregate score is calculated out of 200 marks (50 × 4) for ranking.
For candidates who completed their qualifying examinations under boards other than the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Examination, the applicable normalisation procedure and admission rules prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu and TNAU will be followed to determine eligibility and ranking.
C. Higher Secondary Course (HSC) – Vocational Stream
Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Course under the vocational stream and studied Biology and Agricultural Practices, including theory and practical components, may be eligible to apply for B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, subject to the applicable admission regulations.
