Placement Cell Activities
Following activities were carried out through the Placement Cell, DBCA during the year 2021-2022.
Placement Coordinatorattended the Youth Employment Program organised by Don Bosco Job Placement Network-Tata Consultant Services (TCS), New Delhi through Online Modeon 20.11.2021.
Separate E-mail account catering to Placement Cell has been created on 04.12.2021 for providing the information regarding career opportunities from various Multi-National Companies (MNCs) to all the current &passed-out students alike.
Information was disseminated to 2018 batch students about Indian Institute of Plantation Management-PG Diploma Programme as well as the Dual Degree Programme of the Dalhousie University, Canada, as per the instructions of the Dean (Students Welfare), Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore and to 2020 batch students on 07.12.2021 regarding "Schneider Go Green 2022”.
Details of Apprenticeship Programme for Agriculture Graduates at National Fertilizers Limited, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers were distributed to 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 batch students on 24.02.2022.
Placement Coordinator delivered a special lecture on ‘Opportunities in Higher Education in Agriculture and its Allied Sciences’on 03.03.2022.
Discussion was held with Mr. S. Pratheeprajan, Relationship Manger, Garuda Aerospace Pvt. Ltd., about Drone Technology Subsidy on 23.03.2022 and the subsidy details were forwarded to 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 batch students on 24.03.2022.
Placement Coordinator delivered a special lecture on ‘Resume Writing Tips’ to 2018 batch studentson 05.05.2022.
Alumni Database has been compiled for 2018 batch students on 23.08.2022.
