This Department deals with the economic cost of crop production, marketing, processing and finance, transfer of technology, rural communication modes, use of extension aids, entrepreneurial skills in agribusiness, descriptive and inferential statistics, mathematical applications, IT applications, soft skills, heritage concepts.

  • Analysing agricultural markets to understand supply and demand dynamics, price movements, and market structure.
  • Studying the impact of government policies, trade agreements, and external factors on agricultural markets.
  • Training on statistical software’s viz., Agres and SPSS.
