Department of Plant Pathology focuses on the teaching of plant diseases, their causes and management strategies in field and horticultural crops, mushroom production technologies and mass production of biocontrol agents.

• Collection of herbarium of different crop diseases
• Isolation of pathogenic microorganism from infected plants
• Microscopic observation of pathogenic microorganisms
• Mass production of biocontrol agents - Trichoderma viride, Pseudomonas fluorescens, Bacillus subtilis
• Mushroom isolation, culture preparation & production technologies
