Eco cascade Inaugration
On *July 1, 2026, DBNatureHub at **Don Bosco College of Agriculture (DBCA)* proudly inaugurated its newly developed *Eco Cascade, a sustainable landscape feature created by the final-year B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture students as part of their **Landscape Management* course. The project reflects DBCA's commitment to experiential learning by enabling students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world landscape design and environmental conservation.
The Eco Cascade was inaugurated by *Vaithyalingam* in the esteemed presence of *Dr. K. Sekar* and *Rev. Fr. Alphonse Arulanandam. The project was successfully guided by **Mr. Vigneshwaran*, Assistant Professor, Department of Horticulture, whose mentorship helped students transform innovative ideas into a functional and aesthetically appealing landscape attraction.
Designed using sustainable landscaping principles, the Eco Cascade enhances the natural beauty of DBNatureHub while serving as a practical demonstration of water feature design, environmental planning, and campus beautification. It also provides visitors with a serene and engaging experience, further strengthening DBNatureHub's mission to promote experiential agricultural education, agro-tourism, and nature-based learning. The Eco Cascade stands as a lasting symbol of student innovation, sustainability, and the institution's dedication to developing skilled agriculture professionals through hands-on learning.
