Disaster Management and First Aid Workshop at Don Bosco College of Agriculture

Don Bosco College of Agriculture (DBCA), a Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) affiliated institution, organized a Workshop on Disaster Management and First Aid under the National Service Scheme (NSS) to equip students with essential emergency response and life-saving skills. The programme was conducted on 29 June 2026 at the College Auditorium.

The workshop was led by expert personnel from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Arakkonam, who provided practical demonstrations and interactive sessions on disaster preparedness, emergency evacuation, first aid techniques, CPR awareness, fire safety, and effective response during natural and man-made disasters.

The programme aimed to develop confidence, leadership, teamwork, and a strong sense of social responsibility among students, preparing them to respond effectively during emergencies and serve their communities. Through hands-on learning and real-life rescue scenarios, participants gained valuable knowledge that extends beyond the classroom.

At Don Bosco College of Agriculture, NSS activities are designed to promote community service, civic responsibility, and holistic student development by combining academic learning with practical life skills.
